La Marque, TX 77568
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be modifying our clinic operations for the coming weeks. Based on guidelines proposed by the Center for Disease Control, the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, and the World Health Organization, we are limiting procedures performed in the dental office.
We need to preserve cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment to allow allocation of these resources to the medical community. We also need to do our part in mitigating unnecessary traffic in hopes of slowing down the exposure rates of COVID-19 throughout our community.
For all who need help, Gulfside Dental and Orthodontics in LaMarque will be open for dental emergencies only. Our Galveston location is currently closed through at least April 21, 2020. At the LaMarque office we will be limiting all procedures performed and hours available.
Beginning on Monday, March 23, 2020 and through at least April 21, 2020, we will no longer be performing any non-essential procedures or any procedures that can be delayed without compromise to your health. We will be suspending all appointments for braces, cleanings, cosmetic procedures, and minor restorations. Thank you for understanding that this is a fluid situation, and we will provide updates as any further changes occurs.
Based on current research and recommendations, our clinic has put extraordinary measures in place to help protect both you and us. While these may seem like excessive measures, they are necessary to curtail the spread of COVID-19. Complete closure of our offices will give patients in need nowhere to turn. It is, therefore, imperative that we are available to the public at this time. By remaining open, we will minimize the undue burden of dental emergencies on the healthcare system.
If you have a major dental problem, question, or concern please give us a call at (409) 240-2484. We will have someone available in the office to help. If a dental emergency arises, we will bring you in to evaluate the problem. Your dentist will do everything possible to address your need, while still operating as safely as possible. For existing patients with non-essential concerns, there will be no need to call and cancel any appointments at this time. We will reach out to you to modify and/or delay your visit until we are confident we can resume normal business practices.
Thank you for trusting us with your dental care and remember that social distancing is not social isolation! We look forward to seeing you at your next visit!
