Dr. Jacquetta Davis is a native Houstonian. She graduated in the top ten percent of her graduating class at Westbury Senior High School. She received the Dozoretz National Institute for Mathematics and Applied Science (DNIMAS) award, and attended Norfolk State University. As an undergraduate, Dr. Davis was the president of the DNIMAS Student Association, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and many other student organizations. In the end she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor degree in chemistry.Dr. Davis later earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. In dental school she worked as a student researcher and participated in many community outreach programs. Dr. Davis was also a member of the American Student Dental Association, the Student National Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and others. Dr. Davis has been a part of the Gulfside Dental  Team since 2017, and she enjoys treating patients of all ages. She provides a pleasant and practical approach to good dental care. Although Dr. Davis loves dentistry, she spends much of her time away from the office relaxing with family and friends.

Dr. Ulysses Hsu graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with degrees in Economics and Business Administration. After working as a financial analyst and starting his own business, he decided to pursue a career in dentistry and attended the University of California at Los Angeles for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, Dr. Hsu decided to become an orthodontist and completed his specialty training and Masters of Science in Dentistry degree at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.

In his free time, Dr. Hsu enjoys cooking, traveling, going on long walks with his dog, and trying new restaurants with his wife and his son.

Dr. Frederica Skormin found dentistry would be a very rewarding career, where she could support her community while also being able to practice her artistic abilities creating great smiles. She attended the State University of New York, “SUNY” as they call it, where she achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

When Dr. Skormin is not crafting beautiful smiles she remains active with her two AMAZING children, Alen and Sasha. On weekends, they enjoy getting together to cook, play board games, travel, and watch movies. She also loves staying fit with jogging, pilates, and practicing meditation and holistic living. Fulfilling her creative interests, she frequents art museums and exhibitions around the world, including what’s in our own backyard, the Houston Symphony.

Dr. Skormin refreshes with spiritual retreats and spending time with her friends. She’s a great addition to our team.

Dr. Edgar Ledezma grew up in rural Mexico. He attended The Universidad de Montemorelos where he received a degree in Cirujano Dentista. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Dr. Ledezma chose to study dentistry because his father was a missionary physician in rural Mexico where they would have groups of missionary dentists coming from the USA to provide dental services to the communities. He would approach the dentists and try to help which was very limited since he was only 6-10 years old. He enjoyed the satisfaction of helping the community.

Dr. Ledezma enjoys dental surgery. He finds great satisfaction in doing a procedure on a patient that was previously anxious or nervous due to past dental experiences and having them walk out with a different opinion about dental procedures. Dr. Ledezma is looking forward to providing quality care with compassion and treating each patient like they were a family member.

Dr. Ledezma has been married to his wife, Sara, for four years. His wife Sara is a writer, and they are looking to get a dog or cat in the future. Dr. Ledezma enjoys playing racquetball, eating Mexican food, going to thrift shops, traveling, camping, and watching soccer. Dr. Ledezma Is looking forward to serving his new community and practicing what he loves.

Dr. Richland Mosley was born and raised in Houston, Texas. From a young age Dr. Mosely knew she wanted to be a dentist that could serve patients and help them improve their oral health. Dr. Mosley received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spellman College, and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M College of Dentistry.

Dr. Mosely finds joy in making a positive difference in patient’s lives, both personally and professionally. Dr. Mosely is passionate and dedicated to serving patients and providing them with the best quality care.

Dr. Mosely is a twin and loves spending time with her family and friends. When Dr. Mosely is not working, she is spending time her dogs, reading a variety of books, listening to music, shopping or watching basketball.
