What Is Invisalign?
The Invisalign system utilizes custom-made aligners that are invisible, removable, and comfortable, allowing you to confidently smile throughout your treatment. Why would I want it?
The aligners are not only invisible, but they can also be easily removed. This means you can eat and drink without any restrictions during your treatment. Additionally, there are no metal wires involved, which means less time spent at the dentist's office for adjustments. Invisalign also provides a virtual treatment plan, allowing you to visualize the final outcome of your teeth after the treatment.
How does it work?
You will need to wear a set of aligners for about two weeks, taking them out only for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. Gradually, week by week, your teeth will move until they are straightened. Every six weeks, you will have a visit to ensure progress. The total treatment time is typically nine to 15 months, with 18 to 30 aligners used, although this can vary for each case.
