Gulfside Dental & Orthodontics is dedicated to your health and well-being. During these trying times of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we are taking all steps to ensure your safety.
We ask for your understanding that we will be screening every person that walks into our clinic which includes a brief questionnaire along with taking your temperature.
Please consider postponing your appointment if you have any of the following symptoms:
• Fever
• Currently have a cough or shortness of breath
• History of significant chronic illness
• Compromised immune system
• You or a family member are considered high-risk
• You or a family member have traveled to a location with a level 3 travel notice (Washington, California, New York)
• Airline travel in the past 2 weeks
• Previously asked to self-quarantine
• Close contact to an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 infection
Our office is continually ensuring the disinfection of our office: We are cleaning 4x a day, we continually clean each room, instrument, and surface before and after each patient. We are an easy practice to find! At just 2.5 miles from the Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston, you will have no problem finding us! Leaving the waterpark, just head south on Lockheed Rd for half a mile, continuing onto 81st St. after passing the Inn at the Waterpark. Continue on 81st street until the road ends at Seawall Blvd, where you will take a left. Once on Seawall Blvd, you will continue for 1.4 mile, passing the Walmart Supercenter and Golden Corral before taking your first left after passing 61st St. You will know you are in the right place when you see the Mcdonald’s, as we are right next door by the Joy Nails. Each time I’ve been in, whether it be a cleaning or procedure, everything from billing to the actual breakdown of the procedure was explained to me and I’ve never had any hesitations. Dr. Davis is kind, friendly, and can put anyone at ease. Just a simple gesture of placing her hand on mine during consultations calmed my anxieties. Small details like that reassure you that they’re here to make your dental visit as calm and pleasant as possible. Because, lets face it. Who doesn’t have anxiety about going to the dentist?
I love this office and they’re team so much, that I refer them to patients that visit the medical facility I work at. They’re wonderful at working with, scheduling and accommodating patients that we want to send over, especially patients from out of town. That’s a true testament to not only how they treat and love their locals, but to the out of town patrons who happen to have a last minute dental emergency.
